I’m Quynh Trang Vu, a student at HUS High School for Gifted Students with a strong interest in biology and chemistry. I see science not just as theories and experiments, but as a way to explore life and create meaningful impact.
I chose to pursue biology and chemistry because they offer me a way to understand life at its most fundamental levels and to create solutions that truly matter. My path began with a deeply personal experience: my grandfather’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis sparked my determination to explore science not only as knowledge, but also as a way to heal, connect, and care.
Long before science, art was my first love. I started drawing and painting as a child, finding joy in capturing small details of the world around me. Over time, I discovered scrapbooking and photography as new ways to preserve memories and tell stories. Today, I continue these creative hobbies alongside my studies, as they remind me to see beauty in the everyday and inspire the imagination I bring into my research.
